Three coats China Glaze Pool Party, from The Poolside collection. No base or top coat!
I thought I had a dupe to this shade, and it does look quite similar. The only real difference is Depend number 160, on my ring finger, is shinier. If you were to put a top coat on Pool Party, it would also be shiny – so go look in your closet! If you live in Scandinavia, certainly Depend is much easier to come by than China Glaze is (sigh).

Nothing like a little daytime smokey!
It really does annoy me to no end that I failed to blend out Modelette on the right here. You live and learn, right?
After adding Lucky pencil on waterline:
I so love this colour eyeliner, a shimmery golden copper. When I think about it, I find I have it in three forms, pencil (Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Lucky), liquid (Urban Decay Liquid Liner in Lucky) and gel (MAC Fluidline Rich Ground)

- For me it’s getting both eyes to look the same and blending the eyeshadows. We’ll get there in the end, girls!

So we all want the Urban Decay Naked palette, am I right? I’m trying to pretend like I own it
I already have Half Baked in Book of Shadows II, so I decided to pair it with a plum. Wearing a shimmery eyeshadow in the crease is different, but I like a little bit of different every now and then

This certainly is the greenest green if ever I saw one. What do you think?

Every now and then I just love wearing LOTS of colour. Lots of it! I find the combination of aqua and pink to be a good one.

Enjoying my last day of absolute makeup freedom before school starts! I thought I’d give yellow eyeshadow a try – it’s the one shade I always tell myself I just cannot carry. Imagine my surprise when I found it didn’t make me look like I was having seizures!

And P.S., my momma wouldn’t approve of this look. Her favourite look is a black smokey eye. So there.
And P.P.S. If you’re like me and want every single colour eyeshadow out there, I suggest you take a chance and buy a bunch of MAC Pigment samples. I’ve bought mine from Marlena and really enjoy her service. She has a huge selection too!

When I asked on Twitter which colour eyeshadow I should wear, and Fieran suggested greens (her favourite), I was secretly disappointed. Oh no, not greens! They’re certainly not my favourite. Imagine my surprise when I was pleased with the outcome!
Let’s call this greens for people who can’t actually wear greens!

MAC Humid (why Humid? I meant Club!) and Urban Decay Misdemeanor are both duochromey greens. When they’re paired, do they make a quadrochrome?

it must be Urban Decay, right? Today’s look is completely in the spirit of Urban Decay, with glittery neutrals combined with a crazy pop of colour. All the shades I used were from The Book of Shadows II, in celebration of the holiday release of Book of Shadows III (that I’m furiously trying to resist). Hope you like!
