Yay yay! Lollipop loving is finally mine! It’s such a wonderful colour! It’s a glaze formula, which means it’s pretty sheer. The base of the color is coral, and there’s a green sheen – which is what makes it so unique!
Lollipop loving was first released in the Heatherette collection, and later in Sugarsweet. I got the Sugarsweet batch from one of my favourite eBay sellers. And now it’s mine!

EDIT: Once I uploaded the pictures I saw they were doing this gorgeous shade absolutely no justice. I’ve changed the pictures now, and these are much more true to colour.
Viva Glam V is one of MAC’s most popular neutral shades. Depending on the colour of your lips, it will be pink, brown, beige. On me it just borders pink-brown. If I layer it too much, it instantly becomes too brown. So no doing any of that for me!

When you buy any of the lipsticks and lipglosses in the Viva Glam range, MAC gives the entire amount to their AIDS fund. Make one of the Viva Glams your go-to shade!
First picture is Viva Glam on its own. Second is topped with H&M’s Rich Gloss in rosetan.

Wow! This shade is so pretty! I fell head over heals when I saw how pretty this shade looked next to my skin. I only put it in my cart when I was browsing because I thought it would look a bit like nothing else I owned. You know? It’s mushroomy (I would almost say mousy! but in a good way) color, between brown and gray – a lot warmer than my gray, Nails Inc’s Thames, which makes it a lot more wearable for the warmer toned ladies out there. This one’s a winner!
It applied beautifully in two coats.

Although this is not your average pink or red nail varnish, I don’t think anybody would furrow their brow at this one, marking it inappropriate anywhere. Do you?

MAC Angel is one of my favourite everyday lipsticks. It makes me want to try every other light pink shade there is! I always think the grass is greener on the other side, hah. Paired with Nymphette lipglass, a baby pink with golden shimmer (often recommended as a dupe for NARS Orgasm lipgloss), it turns into a warmer, more wearable pink if you found it too cool on your skintone.
Pretty!

It seems everyone is going gaga over Urban Decay’s new book of shadows, the Alice in Wonderland palette. Personally I’m not interested in it. Sure, it’s pretty, it has a nice popup feature with mushrooms and whatnot, but I was never a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland anyway, and seeing as how all the shades are repromotes, I can pass.

I counted which colors I had that were part of the palette, and it turns out I own 10 of 16, between the Book of Shadows II and the Ammo palette. Not bad!
I decided to do a look with these shades for all those who are interested in the palette could see how they work. Notice on the longer picture all the glittery fallout. I should also show you a picture of my now-sparkly pants, but I won’t.
With these shades being so overly sparkly and glittery, I feel it’s very important to mix your finishes. I used a matte brow highlight, a matte green on the brow bone and matte underneath the lower lashline, and I still feel it’s just a bit too sparkly. Each to her own!

Products used:
- Benefit F.Y. Eye primer
- NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk
- MAC eyeshadows in Nylon (lid), Blanc Type (brow highlight), Newly Minted (brow bone), Violet Vow (from Mystic Cool palette, lower lashline)
- Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Corrupt
- Urban Decay eyeshadows in Jinx, Drink Me, Eat Me (Sin), Chessur (Chopper)
- Make Up Store kohl in Vanilla on waterline
- Generic ebay gel liner in brown
- Benefit Bad Bal Lash Mascara

Some days ago I just had one of those days where I had to fly out the door. I still wanted to hide my imperfections with foundation and concealer though, and whenever I do I need to define my eyes so I won’t look too bland. This is what came of it!

I think it turned out quite pretty! Here’s what I used:
- Benefit f.y eye primer
- MAC paintpot Painterly
- MAC eyeshadows in Jest (highlight), Vex (wash)
- Urban Decay liquid liner in Bourbon upper and lower lashline
- Make Up Store kohl in Vanilla (light yellow) on waterline
- Benefit bad gal lash mascara

I love the Nails Inc. polishes – they are easy to apply, last long on the nail, come in cute bottles and I love the names – I love them even more when I’ve been to the places they mention, like Belgrave Place, Thames, Victoria & Albert and Maddox St. These are my four nails inc. polishes, and I’ve been to all the places – coincidence?
Belgrave Place is a gorgeous creamy purple, very blue, that was very hard to capture on camera. This particular shade lasted a good 8 days on me, with a top coat over. Very impressive!

Presenting today’s look, this is a collaboration of three brands: MAC, Benefit and Urban Decay.
I borrowed Sumptuous Olive from a friend, to see if I would like it. I don’t think I’m going to get it, but I still don’t mind how this turned out. I think if my skin were more yellow, it would suit me better.

Products used:
- Benefit f.y. eye primer
- MAC eyeshadows in Sumptuous Olive (inner half of lid), Tempting (outer half of lid, plus crease), Carbon (lightly in crease), Vanilla (highlight), Vex (lower lashline), Blanc Type (wash)
- Urban Decay liquid liner in Perversion (black)
- Benefit Bad Gal lash mascara
- H&M brow pencil in light brown
