Yay yay hooray! Just after I posted my last lip of the day of this lipstick, I discovered it was way too yellowy-brown for me, especially in other light conditions than just that photo.
After seeing it on other people, mainly my mother (who has a yellow undertone and is quite darker than me – plus I have a blue undertone), I realized just how murky this one looks on me. I was so disappointed!
After reading reviews on makeupalley I figured I would try to pat it on carefully and then blend it out with my fingers, to create a sheerer wash of color. And yay hooray! It’s what I was looking for. Now it appears a natural rosy neutral pink on me, instead of a dirty yellow brown. Can you say whoop?
